"Swiss Bankers Charged in $1.2 Billion Dollar Tax Fraud"

Oh how I'd love to be a Swiss
I'd love to be a true Swiss Miss
I'd live in such eternal bliss!
For Switzerland is known for this:

There's almost 8 million people
With the Alps in their very backyard!
A beautiful land in west Europe
I wonder do they eat much Swiss Chard?
It's long known for being quite neutral
They really want peace at all costs
They haven't waged war or invasions
And created the awesome Red Cross!
The quality of life is quite good there
There's wealth and good health all around
Educated, well-bred, and good lookin'
The best comforts of life do abound
They make all the very best products
There's watches, and knives and great cheese
They rank amongst countries quite highly
As a place to do business with ease!
But one thing that is not quite so noble
And here is where suspicion will mount
Is the creation of the Swiss Banking Act
And especially numbered accounts!
Secrecy is the attraction for many
Offshore is the best way to go
It's the taxes that they are avoiding
Some don't want to part with their dough!
For years there is proof that this system
Has done way more harm than it should
And for those that sought these institutions
Were usually up to no good!
But karma can still be a bitch though
And caught up with some laundering crooks
The US they needed the money
And made Swiss bankers open their books
In 2009 there's a sea change
'Cause fraud and evasion are crimes
They can't just excuse the behavior
So bankers might do some straight time!
But this does not tarnish their image
Not sure they'd admit that they're wrong
For life is still sweet for the Swiss folk
Too clever to stay down for long!
