"More States Allow Same Sex Unions"

Finally arrives a civilized world
Where man can wed man let the banners unfurl!
That woman can show that she loves womankind
Though we're at 2012 we can say "About time!"
What was the fuss? Was there a hex?
It's all about love, or is it 'bout sex?
Or is it that we like to judge who we're not
And live as we please or until we get caught
Hypocritically we pledge that the vows
Are sacred to "God" and to those "He" endows
That are free to betroth even should it all end
(We're not pointing fingers Kim Kardashian!)
As long as the ones were pure hetero
Off to the Little White Chapel they go!
Don't matter the length or the breadth of the union
As long as it fit with religious communion
It's always been sad that the Right used to win
Even if they commit most of the sin!
But now tides are turning bigotry is a FAIL!
Let's wipe the slate clean and let all love prevail!
Let Nature be free to take its own course
Even if destined to lead to divorce!
Weddings are great an event to be shared
With all those in love, who they are, we don't care!
