What the hell is this blog stuff about anyway?

Cooking up a storm again today. Having some of my favourite people for dinner tonight, and want to impress as usual. Making one of my fave chinesey meat dishes; five-spice sticky ribs and wings. Plus jap chae (korean starch noodle dish) and rice. But the piece de resistance is the dessert. Mango Cream Cake, a recipe I found online while googling Asian-inspired desserts for a dinner ages ago. I will have made this dessert three times now, and though it seems to be very similar each time, I am sure I can continue to perfect the execution.

I think I will finally get some pics of the evening, hopefully get some nice shots of the food and post them. Isn't that what blogs are for?
